Suzuki Jimny 4x4 and Huyndai Tucson 4x4 Older models (2005-2007)
By popular demand Blue Car Rental has decided to offer older models of both Suzuki Jimny 4x4 and Huyndai Tucson 4x4 at lowered price available for rent from 7th of May 2012. These vehicles have been in Blue Car Rental´s fleet for the few years and are very well maintained in great condition. They are driven 100.000+ kilometers. They have been all over Iceland and certainly know how to handle the roads and espacially the highland roads in Iceland.
Cars in this catagory are cheaper to rent and therefore go into „Priority B“ category, meaning that in case you need road assistance cars in „Priority A“ are served first. As the need of road assistance is very rare at Blue Car Rental this should not have any impact on your journey, but in the rare occasion this could delay road assistance for 1-2 hours.
Suzuki Jimny 4x4 older model (2005-2007)
If the Toyota Landcruiser is the king of 4x4 in Iceland then the Suzuki Jimny would be the prince. This small SUV is the most popular vehicle in our fleet. The 4x4 wheel drive makes it capable of easily accessing all roads across Iceland. Suzuki Jimny is low geared and economical. The SUV is suitable for 4 adults; however, if you are going on a long trip we recommend max 2-3 adults as the vehicle lacks cargo space. Suzuki Jimny is no luxury vehicle, but it gets you wherever you want to go whether it is the paved ringroad or the bumpy highlands. Given its 4x4 option and the low price, it is definitely worth recommending. Suitable for highland F-roads.
Huyndai Tucson 4x4 Older models (2005-2007)
This comfortable intermediate SUV is an ideal choice for families choosing a four wheel drive vehicle for their trip. The Tucson is fun to drive, both agile and tough. It has very good ground clearance and with it´s powerful V6 engine easily gets you up those steep and slippery hills and rugged roads. Very suitable for 5 adults and cargo fits more than 3 large suitcases. Suitable for highland F-roads.
