Blue Cares

Blue Car Rental is a local family business in Keflavik, Iceland. Throughout the years we have actively supported our local community in countless different ways. We share the love and support through our Blue Cares Campaign. The focus of Blue Cares is towards individuals in our local community with special needs. Hæfingarstöðin is a local community focusing on the reinforcement and development of individual with special needs. Our support for individuals with special needs is a heartfelt matter as Blue Car Rental and Hæfingarstöðin have cooperated for years with various different projects and contributions..

Our previous projects with Hæfingarstöðin, to name a few, include providing them with a specially made chair for children with autism, inviting the whole community to a Justin Bieber concert and our Blue Cares day featured in the video here below.

Last year, we flipped things around creating value and work for both Blue and Hæfingarstöðin as we cooperated on lunching our newest safety solution called Driver Guide. (Our GPS+Wifi Tablet option).

Blue Car Rental is also a proud sponsor of various sports teams in our local community. The Blue team is a project which is solely focused on the development of young talent in the Keflavik football team. A cooperation we are incredibly proud of.

Our local gymnasium where most of the staff members of Blue Car Rental grew up playing in, has been named the Blue Palace. Something that always brings a smile to our faces.

In August 2019, a handful of Blue staff members took part in the Reykjavík marathon. The aim was to collect donations which entirely go to Einstök börn. (e. Unique Children). Einstök börn is a support group for children with rare diseases.
