Why are Electric Cars a great rental option in Iceland?
Less pollution: Renting an electric vehicle (EV) in Iceland is an excellent choice for several compelling reasons. Iceland, as a nation, is committed to preserving its environment, which is evident through its substantial utilization of renewable energy sources such as geothermal and hydro power.
Opting for an EV rental allows you to actively participate in utilizing this clean energy and actively contribute to the safeguarding of Iceland's fragile natural surroundings. By doing so, you have the opportunity to minimize your carbon emissions and freely explore our breathtaking country with a sense of environmental responsibility.
Cheaper fuel option: Utilizing an electric vehicle (EV) while driving in Iceland presents a valuable opportunity to save on fuel expenses, considering that electricity is more cost-effective than petrol and diesel in the country.
For those seeking to explore Iceland's magnificent landscapes and experience its remarkable natural marvels, renting a car proves to be the optimal choice. By opting for an EV rental, travelers can relish in the awe-inspiring scenery Iceland has to offer while simultaneously cutting down on travel expenditures, as they can charge the electric car instead of purchasing costly fuel.
Smooth and quiet driving: From the moment you embark on your journey with an electric rental car in Iceland, you will immediately notice the remarkable smoothness and tranquility of the ride. The absence of engine noise enables you to fully immerse yourself in the serene allure of Iceland's pristine landscapes.
This heightened sense of tranquility will undoubtedly elevate your overall experience as you traverse the renowned Ring Road. En route, you will encounter breathtaking vistas of volcanoes, majestic waterfalls, captivating black sand beaches, and awe-inspiring glaciers, all while relishing in the peaceful ambiance created by your quiet EV ride.
Cost-Efficient and Eco-Friendly Travel
Electric vehicles are becoming one of the most popular ways to travel in Iceland — and for good reason. EVs allow you to enjoy Iceland’s landscapes while benefiting from lower running costs compared to traditional fuel vehicles.
Charging an electric car in Iceland is generally more affordable than refueling with petrol or diesel, and the country’s growing charging infrastructure makes EV travel increasingly convenient. By choosing an electric vehicle, you combine cost-efficient travel with a more sustainable way to experience Iceland.
