Keflavík International Airport: Office Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Why pick up at the airport?
Arriving travelers can get on the road fast. Our delivery office is within a few minutes’ walk from the terminal, and the airport shuttle connects directly to the Rental Car Area where Blue Car Rental is the second stop.

Shuttle hours: 05:00–18:00 (every ~15 minutes)
After 18:00: Walk to our delivery office (3–4 minutes from departures side)
Cost: Picking up from our airport office is free of charge
To Reykjavík: ~45 minutes by car
Pick-Up: How it works
- After customs, go outside to the Car Rental Shuttle stop (next to Flybus Parking).
- Ride to the Rental Car Area; Blue Car Rental is the second stop on the route.
- Shuttle schedule: 05:00–18:00, departures about every 15 minutes.
- After 18:00: Exit the terminal on the departures side and walk across the parking lot to Blikavöllur 3 (about 3–4 minutes).
- Speed things up: complete online check-in before you arrive for a faster handover.
Drop-Off: Quick & simple
- Return your rental car to Blue Car Rental – Blikavöllur 3 for a quick inspection.
- We recommend going to the terminal first to unload luggage and passengers.
- For efficiency, we kindly ask that only the driver brings the car back for inspection.
- The Airport Shuttle drives by every few minutes and will take you to the terminal after drop-off.

- Vehicle choice: 2WD suits paved routes and the Ring Road; 4x4 is required on F-roads (when open).
